Happy Birthday To Me

Archived in the category: Uncategorized

Well, today I am 30 years old. Isn’t this the year that means I’m no longer the cool, young, and hip chick, but instead just a mom, a wife, etc? You know, all of the boring labels? To be honest, I have felt this way since I had my first son 4 years ago. I wasn’t able to do the things I used to do and at that point, I was pretty partied out. Drew and I had 7 years to ourselves before we had kids and we certainly made the most of them.

So, now I’m officially old. I’m cool with it! I actually am looking forward to this next decade of my life. I am no longer a girl, but a woman. I am a mom and a wife and I would never want to be anything else. To live life to its fullest is great and ideal, but to do this with people you love is just awesome. I am the type of person who doesn’t like to ask “What if” questions. Like “I wonder what would have happened if I would have…”. I believe in making the most of every opportunity, good or bad.

The last 10 years has been quite the adventure. I’ve travelled all over this awesome country; back and forth 4 times now with lots of stops in between. I’ve had so many different jobs, all leading to where I am today. I’ve met some of the most awesome people I have ever known, especially recently. I’ve set and achieved so many goals and failed at just as many.

I know this next decade will be even more of an adventure than the last and I am ready to embark on it. Hello 30!

I’ve
only known you for a short time but I have no doubt the next decade of
your life can only bring you even more success and happiness. You’re a
great person and a hard worker. You deserve all of the rewards life

Happy birthday Mrs. Smith. I like your attitude, keep it that way and you should do fine. Have a fun day!

Happy B’day again!!

That’s
quite an optimistic way to look at life & even I agree, if you look
at life as if its an adventure, you’ll get more out of it & it’ll
be more bearable….. err, I mean enjoyable!! ;)

Well
I’m a day late here, but since I caught you yesterday in 4 other places
to wish you a happy birthday, I figure that’s pretty good. But I
wouldn’t be much of a friend if I didn’t post a happy birthday here. ;)

I hope you had a fantastic celebration! Only a short 3,651 days until the big 40!
