My Christmas List

Archived in the category: Uncategorized

My parents are demanding I give them a Christmas list sooner rather than later. I never know what I want and to be honest I prefer to be surprised. If someone wants to get me a gift, I want them to pick one for me, based on what they know about me. BUT, parents will be parents. I looked through the latest electronic magazines and flyers today and didn’t really see anything that I wanted that I didn’t already have.

I am the kind of person, that if I see something I want, I save my money for it and then buy it. A couple months back, I bought myself a Digital Rebel XT, so I’m thinking maybe getting some accessories for that, I’m just not sure what. Any recommendations?

I’m looking for help here. What are you asking for Christmas? Know of any cool things out there that would be neat to get?

There
is alot of stuff I want, but like you say I can just save up my own
money and get it. I don’t like people spending their money on me for
Christmas.

For
your camera I can recommend the 580EX Speedlite Flash or, right at the
other end of the price spectrum, and if you don’t already have them,
some circular polarising filters for your lenses.

Why not get a tripod? Or a LowePro camera rucksack?

I’m just full of ideas. Feel free to buy me a PSP as a sign of gratitude.

XBox
360 all the way over here…I’m absolutely foaming at the mouth to get my
hands on one of those things. I’ll probably end up having to buy it
myself though.

I
had already had my mind made up on the Xbox 360, I just have to find a
bundle that is reasonably priced. Going to Sam’s today to check on it.

Weon, those bags look great! Great suggestions! Thank you.

My MiniTrekker AW is cool. It carries both my cameras, all the lenses, my flash and a tripod too (attached to the outside).

It
also has a waterproof cover that comes out of a pocket in the bottom
and protects the bag and all your kit in the event of a downpour
(useful in the UK climate).

I didn’t ask for anything for my birthday and… I don’t see myself asking for anything for Christmas.

It’s scary. I’m getting so old that I just buy stuff if I want it.
