Favorite Firefox Extensions

Archived in the category: Uncategorized
Posted by: Sara -

Since I’ve had to reinstall everything on my harddrive, I am reacquiring some of my favorite extensions. These are my favorites:

  • downTHEMall! - This extension lets you downoad all of the files in a directory at once rather than downloading each individually.
  • Web Developer - This is just a handy little extension for web developers; lots of cool things in here.
  • ColorZilla
    - I love to use this tool to get the colors out of my favorite pictures
to use on my websites or in my themes like I did for my blog here.
  • FoxyTunes - This lets you manage iTunes, Winamp, or another media player directly from the browser. Very handy.
  • googlebar - Enough said.

What are your favorite extensions? Recommend some to me please!

I’d like to have a lot but i’m satisfied with the dev toolbar, colorzilla and will add the goodgle bar. I want to try that ABC SMS Send extension, apparently you can send text messages anywhere in the world. doesn’t work on 1.5 though so i’ve yet to try it.

You might find it useful if you wanted to text message that husband of yours. I also have del.icio.us

I
like sage. it is an RSS reader. I also use IE View, Gmail Manager,
Google Page rank Status and HTML validator with Tidy. As well as
ColorZilla, Web Dev Toolbar!

I like Sage (the RSS reader), Google Suggest and the spellchecker gizmo who’s name I’ve forgotten…

Hmm,
while I was in the shower yesterday I was thinking about making a post
about good FFox extensions but you beat me to it. That is a little too
coincidental - have you been reading my mind again? Get out of my head!

Anyway…

I
would echo Dev Toolbar and Sage. I also have ForecastFox
(http://forecastfox.mozdev.org/) installed. It’s handy when you live
somewhere like the UK that has weather that is about as reiable as a
perforated condom.
