A big reason I got into this field was because technology is always changing and always advancing. Yesterday on Christmas, I hooked up my webcam and my husband was able to watch his kids open Xmas presents from a warzone in Iraq. I thought that was pretty damn cool. Hope everyone had a nice holiday.

One of the biggest reasons for my interest in technology is the constant change and innovation. I think you’ll find this is a common attribute to many technologists…
Anyway, I hope you enjoyed yourself ![]()
Actually, that is pretty damn cool. So were they naughty or nice this year?
December 27th, 2005 at 2:42 amSo often tchnology sucks but it is so cool that the simple act of a father wtching his children open their presents is possible with all those miles in between them.
I hope your season was full of good cheer and wish you and your family all the best for 2006!

Santa was still good to them, although from the mess in my house, I think perhaps too good.
That would be the ultimate in cool for an army dad. Happy new year!
