Starting Over

Archived in the category: Useless Info

I’ve had my part-time web development business for 3.5 years now and I’ve always had a steady stream of clients; not a lot, but enough to keep me busy and give me new experiences. One of my goals has been to have my business full time, but that was after I spent some time in the industry as an “employee” and learned as much as I could. I’m now one step closer to achieving my goal.

Several months ago, a friend and I started working on projects together, both personal and for clients. Throughout this experience, we realized how our skills really complimented each other’s. We had similar goals and a similar work ethic. Throughout the past 6 months, we’ve learned that two could in fact be better than one.

We signed the papers this week and made it official. I’m no longer a lone member of a sole-proprietorship, i am a partner in an LLC. So here’s to us and a long future together!
