Pooler Georgia Home for Sale

Here I am using my blog for what will hope be some personal gain. The blog gets found for all kinds of search terms and I hope it will get found by someone looking to buy a home in Pooler, Georgia. Let’s put this social media to the test and see what I can do with it. Prepare yourself for maximum keyword density…

pooler georgia house for saleBackground: My home is about 2.5 years old and is located just outside of Savannah, Georgia right off the I-95 and I-16 intersection. We moved there when my husband was stationed at a local Army Base, Fort Stewart, Home of the 3rd Infantry Division. The house is even closer to Hunter Army Airfield in case there are any military members relocating to the Savannah area. I had to move in August when my family was relocated to SHAPE, Belgium. The house has been on the market since last May so I am definitely ready to sell. We have had an offer, but it fell through. I am tired of paying two house payments as you can imagine so am looking to get the word out in any shape or form!

pooler georgia house for saleI will give some basic information on the house. It is just shy of 1900 Square feet. the foyer and living room have 14 foot ceilings which is just really pretty and it really opens things up. There are two full bathrooms in the house. The mast bedroom as a separate garden tub and shower with walk-in closet. The home has 3 official bedrooms with an additional large bonus room (with closet) above the garage that can be counted as an additional bedroom or use it as a rec room. I used it as my office when I lived there and it was awesome.

There is a formal dining room and a very large and open kitchen that give any parent a great view into the kids room or the living room! The master bedroom is a large room with vaulted ceilings. We have a large fenced-in backyard with a deck that we (and some friends) put in ourselves. The yard is great for a growing family or one with pets. There was always plenty of room for our dogs to run around in!

So why isn’t the house selling? I’ve got no clue. Most people have great feedback. The people with complaints typically complain about the red in the living room. We are looking into having it painted or we would definitely consider a painting allowance. If you know of anyone moving to the Savannah, Georgia area who is looking for a home, please show them this site. We’ve got a fabulous Savannah realtor, Kim Fox, who is doing everything she can to help us sell the house. You can read the details of the house for sale.

We have a video tour of the house too in case anyone wants to see it but it requires Windows Media Player:

The real estate market sucks just about everywhere now, but it’s been picking up over the last few weeks from what my real estate buddies say.

I’ve been going through the same thing with my house in Philadelphia, while also paying for my current house in Florida. We finally got an offer on our place and we close next monday, but at a far lower price than we expected.

You might have to lower your expectation as to what kind of money you’ll be getting back out of your house, but you should be able to sell it. I know I’d buy it if I was going to live anywhere in the Savannah/Hilton head area; it’s a nice house and about half as much as the one I’m currently in with the same amount of space. :)

Well, I got an offer on Friday night. We accepted it so if they will do the home inspection in the next 10 days and are set to close in just a few weeks if all goes well.

I really really hope it does. It would be a lot of stress gone!

I just fell onto your blog after searching SHAPE. We are moving to SHAPE from Grand Forks, ND in just under 3 weeks and have been stressed because we had to wait on family medical clearance until today! We should get orders on Monday and now need to sell my minivan quickly, but fortunately our house hit the market and sold within 5 days. Drop me an email if you’d like. It would be nice to know someone. We have 3 kids ages 9, 6 and 2.
