For those who don’t know

The past week I’ve been on a trip for work/pleasure visiting my business partner and some family as well. I’ve had an incredible time so far, better than I had hoped for actually.

It’s always hard to manage your work and other obligations when you have people you are supposed to keep happy. I had hoped to achieve a lot more than I have so far on this trip as it’s a “working” vacation, but it’s hard to say know to your friends when you haven’t seen them in a year!

I knew coming into it though that the first week would be hard for me work-wise so this weekend I will need to step it up as I have some stuff I need to get done! I will suffer another speedbump tomorrow as it is my birthday and I will actually get to spend it with my parents which is a first in many many years.

The past few days have been awesome as I am a place that I call home, Savannah, GA. It was great to be with friends and really get to spend time in the city I fell in love with years ago. I’ve had my camera with me taking tons of pictures so I’ll leave you with one that I think really sets the mood for the town.

I’ve only been through Savannah once briefly, but it seems very nice. Plus, I happened to be passing through on St. Patrick’s day. They go all-out for that one!!

Yeah savannah during st. patricks day is a little crazy! It’s the 2nd largest St. Patrick’s Day party in the states (after boston)

Gah! Now you’ve reminded me that I want to visit Savannah! I should stop reading your blog - it leads me astray.

Seriously though, have a great time catching up with your friends and family.

Oh, and DO SOME WORK WOMAN!

I used to live in Augusta, visited Savannah regularly. That picture brings back good memories of the humid peach state.

@Ben - Were you in the military? I ALMOST lived in Augusta, but ended up going somewhere else instead.
