Four jobs I’ve had in my life
- Worked at a softball field collecting money and working in the concession stand in Cincinnati, Ohio.
- Worked as a grocery store clerk at King Soopers in Denver, Colorado. I swept and mopped the floors and pushed grocery carts
- I was an Arabic linguist in the US Navy.
- I waited tables for 3 years while going to college. For two of them I worked at a Bingo Hall and for the third I worked at a restaurant called Logan’s.

Very impressed by the Arabic too! What other languages do you speak?
Also, as you mentioned thanksgiving dinner. Can you possibly explain what a ‘yam’ is. I’ve seen it mentioned on friends and just haven’t a clue. I’m sure my searches in the past have just confused me more!
Nice to know more. Never heard of ‘The Notebook’ so I’ll have to see if I can find that :)

@Sarah - I don’t eat yams, but they are very similar to a sweet potato except a little bit sweeter and softer. They are both Orange. I highly recommend the notebook. I typically pass over the chick flicks, but guys I know have cried at this film. just damn good!
